Unconscious and Otherness in the Digital Era

Abstract

In our era of continuous transformation in the digital field new aspects prompt us to discuss existing concepts and problems. Specifically, this paper considers the web personalization and its effects on perception of reality, in fact big data and digital twins, which have been compared with Freudian unconscious, are elements to investigate the self/other relationship. Furthermore, through the study of some psychoanalytic theories on the first experience of the other is showed how it is possible for the subject to be attracted to internet
pitfalls, especially to isolate himself from the rest.
