Deleuze as educator. Transcendental empiricism and the practical meaning of philosophy.

Abstract

 This essay sets out to articulate a Deleuzian educational practice through a comparison with several contemporary theories. The majority of these theories argue for the necessity to abandon philosophy in order to create a thought of difference. However, this essay aims to show how philosophy is already for Deleuze practical and therefore constitutes an implicit education. In particular, it analyzes the consequences implicit in the transcendental empiricism proposed by Deleuze in “Difference and Repetition,” evaluating its factual aspects and consequences.
